Norma Plett
NYS Treasurer
Membership Report, June 1, 2008
AAUW NYS membership is 3068.
Please check the numbers for your branch on the membership report. If your numbers do not agree, contact the NYS Treasurer as soon as possible to resolve any discrepancies. Keep in mind that the Treasurer only has the information sent from branches through dues transmittals and copies of Records Change Forms. DUAL (in NYS) members and Student Affiliates are counted in the branch total but not counted in the NYS total.
Dues should be forwarded promptly to the Association and NYS Treasurer, ensuring that all members will receive state and national publications.
The number of branch delegates for the 2008 AAUW NYS Convention was determined by the December 1, 2007 Membership Report. The Convention was held at the Otesaga Resort, Cooperstown, NY, April 25-27, 2008.
The AAUW NYS Bylaws specifies the makeup of the voting body at Convention. The membership report and bylaws section is posted for your information.
