Info on AAUW Priority Issues
To get information on AAUW's priority issues visit the Association's
web site. Specifically, the links below.
Get the big picture by downloading AAUW's
Principles and Priorities brochure. It will provide information
on AAUW's public policy program and outline our action priorities.
Where the Girls Are - a Powerpoint presentation and script are available for use in a discussion of this study of The Facts about Gender Equity in Education. You may use the presentation yourself, or the Public Policy Director may have someone who can present this to your branch.
AAUW Action Network - this is free to anyone who has an e-mail address, wants to know what’s going on in Washington, D.C., and wants to take action to affect the outcome of important issues.

Politics is a non-partisan, non-profit research group that specializes
in the study of Congress and particularly the role that money plays
in its elections and actions.
The Federal Election Commission (FEC)
provides campaign finance information.
Project Vote Smart, a
non-profit, non-partisan organization, provides a wide range of
information on campaign contributions to candidates, candidates'
positions on issues and voting records.
Thomas provides legislative
information on the Internet. This site is a service of the Library
of Congress. You can look up information on bills before Congress
and their current status.
Voter Information Services provides
non-partisan Congressional Report Cards and tools for in-depth research
and analysis of the United States Congress.
The Women's
Sports Foundation is a charitable educational organization dedicated
to advancing the lives of girls and women through sports and physical
activity and an excellent source of information on Title IX.
