The AAUW Membership Year is from
July 1st to June 30th. Half-year dues are in effect
for those who join January 1st to March 15th, members
joining after March 15th are counted for the following
year.

The Association no longer sends membership
cards. Your AAUW ID number can be found two ways. Online
using Member ID Lookup in the Member Center www.aauw.org
or on the AAUW Outlook mailing label above your name. |

The most valuable resource for MVP’s is the Membership
Tool Kit, part of the Leadership Library developed by the Association (you will have to log in as a member first).
It is also available on the AAUW-NYS Public Policy & Voter Education
Resources CD which was given to each branch after the 2004 NYS Convention.
However you obtain the Tool Kit, you’ll appreciate its value.
It covers topics from your time line to recruitment and retention
strategies.
Another resource is the NYS
MVP who has information on many topics or can do research if
necessary.
There are also several dues programs with which you should be familiar.
Additionally, here are a list of handouts (some of which is duplicate
information from the tool kit.)
