Staten Island Branch

New York State AAUW

The Staten Island Branch of the New York State AAUW was formed in 1962. It was originally the Staten Island University Women’s Club, but affiliated with AAUW 48 years ago. The Staten Island Branch lives the AAUW Mission, serving the entire island of 450,000 people from St. George on the north shore to Tottenville on the south. The Branch averages about 75 members and is a diverse group of women of all ages and interests. We have monthly meetings and special interest groups. Our programs are designed to interest our members and to attract prospective members from the community and other organizations.
