Program

The Smithtown Area Branch promotes equity for women and girls, and Education as the Gateway to Women's Economic Security. We raise money for the Legal Advocacy Fund (a wonderful Book/Author Luncheon) and have a great Donor's Club for the Eleanor Roosevelt Fund of the Educational Foundation. We support community groups (Suffolk County Coalition Against Domestic Violence), participate in NYS AAUW Convention, atttend District 6 events, and enjoy friendship with women who share concerns for our AAUW mission.

Historical records are stored at the Frank Melville Memorial Library at SUNY Stony Brook, Long Island New York.
