The Mid-Island Branch was formed in 1949. We celebrated our 50th anniversary
with a gala in June of 1999. We were a five and seven star branch during the
life of that program.
The Mid-Island Branch is an AAUW 21st Century Recognition winner - Gold at the national level!
The American Association of University Women advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research.
