New York State AAUW



AAUW (American Association of University Women) advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research. AAUW's commitment to educational equity is reflected in its public policy advocacy, community programs, leadership development, conventions and conferences, national partnerships, and international connections. Through the Legal Advocacy Fund we provide funding and a support system for women seeking judicial redress for sex discrimination.

Massapequa Area Branch has 59 members at present, with annual dues of $75.

Branch community service projects include giving holiday books for children and awarding engraved Dictionary Commendation Awards to five area High School Graduating Seniors. Our Chordalairs singing group has performed at the Daleview Manor Nursing Home.
