Greece Area Branch

New York State AAUW

The Greece Area Branch in suburban Rochester was chartered in 1972. Branch members enjoy volunteering locally as well as being part of a national organization. Support for the goals of AAUW come in a number of forms including fundraising for the Educational Foundation and the Legal Advocacy Fund. Recently the branch started a college scholarship for a local female high school senior. Funds are raised by reporting the vote count election night for the Voter News Service.

Members also enjoy socializing and a selection of interest groups. A book discussion group and a dinner group are long time favorites. Monthly meetings bring the membership together for a variety of lively and enlightening programs.

For more information, contact Janet Ulinski.
